CANCELLATION POLICY
A reservation deposit is required to confirm your appointment and will be applied toward the final cost of your cleaning.
Appointments may be canceled or rescheduled without penalty by providing at least 24 hours’ notice. With sufficient notice, the deposit may be refunded or transferred to a new service date.
If an appointment is canceled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice, the reservation deposit will be retained to compensate for the time reserved.
ACCESS POLICY
The customer is responsible for providing safe and timely access to the property, including any necessary entry codes, keys, parking instructions, or building-access information. If PDX Cleaning Collective LLC cannot enter the property and cannot reach the customer within 15 minutes of the scheduled start time, the appointment will be treated as a late cancellation and the deposit will be retained.
PDX Cleaning Collective LLC may waive or transfer a cancellation charge in its discretion for emergencies or exceptional circumstances.
CLUTTER POLICY
The quoted price assumes that floors, countertops, furniture and other scheduled cleaning areas are reasonably accessible when the cleaning team arrives. Routine pickup of a small number of personal items is included. Organizing, decluttering and extensive pickup are not included unless specifically listed in the work order.
Excess clutter includes clothing, toys, dishes, boxes, trash or other belongings that materially obstruct access to scheduled cleaning areas or require significant time to move before cleaning can begin.
If excess clutter is present, PDX Cleaning Collective LLC may clean only accessible areas, ask the customer to clear affected areas, offer additional time for an approved additional charge, or reschedule the service. Areas that cannot be accessed safely may be excluded from the cleaning.
We will not discard, organize, relocate or place personal belongings into containers without the customer’s permission. We are not responsible for cleaning beneath or behind items that cannot be safely moved.
No additional charge will be added without the customer’s approval. If additional time is declined, service will be limited to areas that are safely and reasonably accessible.
Conditions involving animal or human waste, needles, active pest infestations, hazardous substances, unstable piles, blocked exits or other significant safety risks are outside the scope of ordinary cleaning. PDX Cleaning Collective LLC may stop or decline service when conditions present a health or safety concern.
